Stemming a Sovereign -Debt Crisis

Dear Friends,

Please find attached an op-ed in the WSJ that I wrote with John Lipsky, my co-chair of the Bretton Woods Committee’s Sovereign Debt Working Group.  It covers the urgent need for increased transparency by all parties including debtor and creditor nations as well as the private sector, to help mitigate and resolve an upcoming sovereign debt crisis in emerging market countries caused by rising interest rates and slow economic growth.
