Global food crisis demands urgent Western response

Dear Friends,

Attached is an op-ed I wrote along with Stuart Mackintosh on the global food crisis the world is facing.  This could cause wide spread famine among many poorer countries in the emerging world, a number of which already been racked by two years of the Covid epidemic.

An urgent response by the most wealthy countries and the international financial institutions should make the funding of needed food supplies to be an urgent priority.
