Attached is an op-ed that appeared in Project Syndicate which I co-authored with John Lipsky covering a study by the Bretton Woods Committee Sovereign Debt Working Group, which we co-chair, recommending ways to mobilize private capital to tackle the triple challenge of sustaining economic growth, particularly in the highly indebted emerging economies along with insuring financial stability and mobilizing resources to tackle global threats like climate change. 

We suggest the need for a new policy paradigm establishing equitable burden sharing between the public and private sectors to meet these challenges.
